RAVELLI MAGIC SHOW

A BIT OF HISTORY...

Hi there...!!! I'm "RAVELLI THE MAGICIAN", Original from the beautiful city of Guadalajara in the state of Jalisco, Mexico.

When I was 4 years old I saw for the first time in my life a magician at my kindergarten school the great "MAGO JAVIER", ooh boy was I impressed, later on as I grew up I saw many more on different occasions throughout my elementary school years.

Since I was born I was inclined to the arts, I discover I could paint, draw and sing; By natural instinct I wanted to be on stage, Since kindergarten I participated in every play or show at my schools, At age 7, I study music at the choir of my church in San Andres.

Also study theatre while in high school, assembled a MIME group and performed throughout the city. Since my face was painted white already, a co-student who was a magician, offered me to help him on his shows as a clown, There is where I learn the the behind the scenes of magic, mmmhhhh...!!; but I never thought of ever being a magician then.

At the same time I learn how to play South American instruments, their music and how to make them. Assembled my first musical trio and play on board of the city busses, for tips. In search of fame in 1984, moved to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco Mexico; Were I spent 8 years of my life working most of the hotels and restaurants of the tourist area with several bands that I created.

On 1986 and 1987, performed for The International Children's Festival at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton and Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary, Canada.

On 1990 After traveling most of Mexico and part of USA, One day decided to come back to Guadalajara and return to Miming, working the plazas of downtown Guadalajara. One evening after going to the movies with my parents we crossed by a Magic Shop from a well known magician there "MAGO GRANELL.

I was impressed with the tricks he demonstrate and even more to know that I could learn them, was then when I dedicate all my money and efforts to learn the Magical Arts of Illusionism and Prestidigitation. Granell, offered his unconditional help to teach me when he found out that I was playing on the busses and miming on the plazas to gather money to buy new tricks. So he invited me to a series of performances of a Magic Club of his own, where magicians from all over the city would participate.

That is where I meet again with "MAGO JAVIER", the same one I saw trough my childhood, Now much older and experienced, I approached him and introduce my self as an aprentice of magic, When he got to now my name is Javier he was trilled and ever since, He saw me and treat me like a son; He tutored me the secrets about magical performance, building illusions, and the business of magic. God bless him...!!! because thanks to his invaluable help I entertain many children and I can make a living off of it. That is why I consider him my MAGICAL FATHER.

With the magic in my hands and the music as companion begin to travel again performing everywhere I could, and by the end of 1992, I arrive to the United States straight to Orlando Florida, and begin to open my self a market in this Wonderful Country.

Ever since and for many years, I have performed Magic or Music at most of the Team Parks, Major Hotels, Restaurants, Schools and Events, such as:
